Future Force - Entry Level Traineeships
Fresh from School or Mature-aged, Future Force is seeking the most elite of trainee candidates. Over the past 9 years, our people have placed hundreds of Year 12 graduates in Operational and Administration roles within International and Domestic Forwarding, Logistics and Aviation. How does it work?
We assess your application and if you are eligible, we will:
• Interview, profile, reference check
• Skill test for Mathematics, English and IT
• Set research tasks, gauge motivation and suitability, profile and select
• Employ successful candidates and assign Trainees to a Host Company
The Curriculum
We deliver Certificates II, III and IV within the nationally-recognised Transport & Logistics Training Package. The most common qualifications we are delivering are as follows:
Certificates II & III in Transport and Logistics (Logistics Operations)
Certificate IV in Transport and Logistics (Logistics)
Certificates II, III & IV in Transport and Logistics (Warehousing and Storage)
Certificates II, III & IV in Aviation (Ground Operations and Service)
and 2 new qualifications now available:-
Certificates III & IV in International Freight Forwarding
We are able to train and qualify trainees in a wide range of disciplines, including office based operations, warehousing, reception, finance/accounting, HR, secretarial/administration and customer service, all with a focus on the particular activities of the Host company.

Trainers meet with our trainees, weekly for around 1 hour, to review progress and to set study tasks. Both the Trainee and Host Company managers receive a copy of progress reports. Trainees are expected to devote an average of 3 hours per week in completing unit activities and receiving on-the-job instruction. Additionally during the course of your traineeship, you will occasionally be required to attend specialist trainee programs and tours away from your workplace
What do I get paid?
Future Force Trainees are paid the National Training Wage for the period of the traineeship, with increases in salary each January. Upon graduation, commercial industry wages apply.
How long does it take to Graduate?
To some extent, that is up to you and how hard you work. The average time taken by past trainees to graduation is around 20 months, during which time you complete Certificate III and gain valuable on-job experience. In almost every case over the past 9 years, the trainee has been retained by the Host Company on graduation, as a full-time employee on a commercial wage.
Who are my Trainers?
Future Force Trainers are industry people who are qualified as trainers and who have many years experience both on-the-job and delivering training to entry level trainees. We are experienced and competent within administration, accounts, operation and customer service within aviation, customs brokerage, export/import forwarding, logistics, shipping and general transport. Our people have worked the jobs and managed people. We know what we are talking about! We know the outcomes you need!

How much does it cost?
As a result of Victorian Government ministerial directions, Future Force as a Registered Training Organisation is obliged to comply with the prescribed fees and charges policy. This policy, prescribing a minimum annual fee of $57.00 and a maximum annual fee of $903.00, can be viewed on the Skills Victoria website by clicking the following link:
A Future Force traineeship will cost the trainee the minimum amount allowable under the government policy. In most cases this amount to only $57.00 per annum.
